Here are the responses to the most frequently asked questions.
What is the duration of the programme?
The programme is 8-weeks in length. We run our sessions from 9:30am until 3:30pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays. We are targeted to provide 100 Guided Learning Hours (GLH) for your attendance on our programme. We achieve this through structured learning environments on our Skills Bootcamp delivery days.
What is the Delivery Method?
We offer a hybrid programme. We commence the programme through Microsoft Teams remote sessions to initially engage with you and during the next few weeks we encourage in-office attendance.
What is the assessment method?
Weekly assessments after each technical session are conducted in alignment with the Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate requirements to ensure consistent learning progress. We track these through your own personal dashboard, providing additional support based on your understanding and learning. Our aim is to help you succeed in achieving your certification.
Can I watch recoded content?
No, this programme is designed for face-to-face delivery sessions. Remote sessions on Teams need to be attended too in person. As a funded programme, we do not provide pre-recorded sessions. You will benefit by working with the groups and our team in-person, which is recommended.
What learning materials do I need?
We provide slide decks of the information provided during each session. We will provide links to useful information, and we encourage users to share their knowledge and progression through the programme. Participants will engage with real-life projects.
How will this bootcamp progress my career?
Your successful outcome will be to pass the Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate certification, supported by our team to achieve this outcome. We will support you to engage on new opportunities for as long as you want/need our support. Our programme will help you feel more confident, better equipped for industry, and more employable to the industries you wish to succeed in.
