“I always felt that I was an employable person with the skills I have picked up from my management career in hospitality, running large businesses, opening my own restaurant, managing large teams of staff and managing profit and loss accounts in excess of £1million’s of turnover. However, upon leaving hospitality I was met with limited interviews (even though I met all the criteria), limited opportunities to progress and ended up taking a £15k pay cut to try a new job in education”

“In my opinion without a piece of paper showing I have a degree, my twenty years of management experience, leadership skills and business skills seemed and felt worthless. This bootcamp has given me the confidence again that my skills are useful, I do have something different to offer that you can’t teach people in an educational setting studying for a degree. I have realised I’m a people person, I like to help people develop and improve themselves and I’m an honest person who speaks from the heart. I have recently worked in a sector where leadership is lacking, budget experience is poor and management processes and systems are archaic. During the program I have gone from feeling dejected in the education sector to seeing my potential raise beyond levels I can currently describe to support more meaningful ventures and people”

“I really enjoyed these sessions. They provided some valuable learning in older tech (Excel) whilst also introducing us to new automation techniques. There could potentially be some pre-learning for candidates to do in the future (very basic coding) and ways to get the candidates to design their own automation tools to either help a real life task, or something in their personal lives (finances) to actually put the learning objectives into real life context”

“It is quite an intense ten week program and needs a certain level of dedication and commitment from it’s participants so it does need to appeal to people who want to progress in their careers. I think it needs to be aimed at people with some level of working experiences, life experiences and maybe people looking for new career opportunities or students at ages of around 18-21 who need support and exposure to employers, mentors and trainers to help them in their first steps for a career path. I believe this program could be open to a wide range of people who want to find new opportunities, but the candidates also have to have an element of determination to complete the program”

“I’d like to connect you up with Neil Horner, Founder and Director  of P34B . To be honest ,recommendation of an external SME  is something I very rarely do , however in the case of Neil and P34B , it’s an exception I am pleased to make . Their  business approach is very different from other SME’s we have experienced, the opposite of the  “ land and expand “ model, more very personal, super collaborative , tailored to specific needs, and I guess most importantly for us, delivery of outcomes”
