Neil Horner is leading the APM Northwest network with a vision to establish it as the hub for project management excellence. As a volunteer, Neil has been instrumental in developing a community and a programme of events that informs, supports, and integrates project management across the northwest.
The APM Northwest Network has seen a 25% increase in membership since 2022, representing 13% of the total APM Community, and has transitioned from a Committee into a Regional Network. The Network Action Pack ensures clarity for the team, establishes structure, and sets a framework for forward planning across all strategic themes.
The APM Northwest Network’s plan includes focus stream working sessions and channels to establish forums and mechanisms for specific discussions to be held on workstreams of interest to volunteers. This approach encourages volunteer involvement in areas they are passionate about, maximising opportunities and making a difference.
Neil’s leadership and the collective efforts of the APM Northwest Network volunteers are creating a vibrant and supportive environment for project management professionals in the region. The network’s activities and events are designed to motivate and inspire, fostering a sense of community and a shared commitment to excellence in project management.
